Player Cody Walker

For those that haven’t noticed,when Cody is on his game he is the most likely to set up a few tries and score himself.Currently his form is ordinary!
When on song he is the most likely player to win a game for us,Mitchell would be next in line!

Totally agree with what you have said here but JD's job must be on the line now so how long can he persevere with a spine that isn't firing?

That and losing Reyno.

It has been clear at times his anger at both Cook and Ilias the last couple of years. It's just he is so often angry people overlook it.
 
Walker getting picked in the last Origin game 2023 , effectively ended Souths season , we never recovered after losing that game to the Dogs.
This year , his form has been underwhelming , he needs to be dropped along with Hawkins.

the last 2 games Wighton has been our best and AJ & Thommo have been in the clear so many times……..why?

They’ve been given good clean ball and generally had space created for him. Thanks to Walker & Latrell.

Watch the replay yesterday. Walker played both sides of the field, ran the ball, almost scored 2 times. Put Thompson away twice in the 2nd half who,gobsmackingly took on RTS & the sideline and got bundled out

it way too easy to regurgitate the nonsense that people have gone on with. As if it’s fact😆😆
If the bloke doesn’t score 4 tries a week it’s labelled a poor game. Lazy dumb thinking by those who indulge it

And yes, the intercept pass was bad

I hope the captaincy , helps Cody to keep his cool and that plus discipline of the rest of the team.

Cody has thrown some nice passes lately , that have resulted in tries , however in those same games , for each great pass , he has thrown more bad passes and his poor end of set kicks have been turning points in a couple of game , oh and did I mention his missed tackles that have resulted in tries.

Souths can beat Saints , however Cody needs to have a consistent kicking game , consistently good passes and not miss key tackles. Rest of the team need to nail their tackles , their temperament and force Saints into their bad habits.
